This blog describes Manny Gorman's successful round of all 219 Corbetts in 70 days, in one continuous journey by running, cycling and sailing.

Manny's 70 Day Schedule

The Corbetts are Scottish hills between 2,500 and 3,000ft, with at least 500ft ascent on all sides.

Day 4 - Rum

Manny had a pleasant run over the island's two Corbetts, although feeling weakish, and as of last night, had sailed to Mull and was just off Tobermory. Hopefully he's feeling a bit stronger for today's Corbett.

Excerpt from Crew Log:
Tues 28th.
Fi & I, due to join "Finlandia" on Mull for crew changeover, poor weather on Skye, Sunday caused delay, so no need to hurry.

3.0pm: Lochaline:
msg from boat: light winds & slow progress. 1.5mls from Rhum. That's ok, there's time to take in a tour of Mull.

8.0pm: No visual of "Finlandia" in Sound of Mull, perhaps they've carried straight on to the Med. We're off to the Mishnish for grub & beer.

9.0pm: txt msg: "still sailing. ETA Tobermory after midnight"
We better look for a room ..........
