Hello Sailors
Hope you're tied up close to a nice hostelry - it's a bit fresh here in Aviemore this morning but sunny - expect it's a bit fresher where you are! Hope you eventually make it round the Horn/Mull!

Regards from the one-armed biker.

Excerpt from Crew Log: Wed 29th.

8am: "Finlandia" moored in harbour, no sign of life - must have been a late arrival.

12Noon: Crew changeover complete,Archie off/Fi & I on. Also MTB onboard.
Manny departs on John Coyles road bike - seat too high - ouch - could be uncomfortable, or worse.

Sound of Mull: Motor into strong wind & tide - a bit choppy.

3.28pm: txt msg:"Off hill now"
4.04pm: txt msg:"bloody hell that looks hard work (from the Tea Room at Craignure)" Wind F5-6 on the nose.
5.55pm: "Finlandia" entering Loch Spelve, strong ingoing tide. Pilot Book says “must aim for submerged rock until a couple of boat lengths then turn to Port” scary or what!!!!!

5.59pm: timely txt msg from M: “get those bloody sails up” He doesn’t know what a stressful challenge is.

M collected from Croggan by John Coyle for a night in a proper bed to be returned to same spot in morning. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Fi & John

Hope things are still going to plan. We had a great trip on the first part of the Island Hopping. Thanks a lot to John and Ann for getting the boat to Rodel and letting us help out.
Here's a link to some photos from the first stint of the sailing
